Low Profile Cisterns (water storage tanks)

  • Ideal for underground storage of water for drinking, fire protection, irrigation and rain harvesting.
  • Same watertight features as septic tanks.
  • Manufactured from high-density linear polyethylene (HDLPE)–compliant with FDA Reg. 21 CFR 177.1520 [C3.1] and NSF.
  • Thicker-wall version of septic tank design.
  • Multiple fitting locations.
  • Water tanks may be easily plumbed together in series to increase total underground storage capacity.
  • Cisterns are furnished with manhole covers only. No fittings installed from the factory.

Heavy Duty Low-Pro Below Ground Cisterns (water storage tanks) (Installation)


Low-profile polyethylene cisterns share all the features and benefits of the ribbed tanks listed above. These water tanks also have a lower profile which reduces required excavation depth. The heavy-duty design of these water tanks make them suitable for more extreme applications.

  • 24" Diameter Manhole Extensions (6", 15", 24" Heights).
